'Digital' Copywriters: A.I. at work?

Cut to: 'War' by :Wumpscut:
(my phone rings)

Me: hey
This one person who for all reasons right and wrong should be called
'Morpheus': Dude, need some help...
Me: bol ('go-on' in hindi)
Morpheus: Can you refer some good copywriters?
Me: Yes, I know a couple who are really good...Will mail
Morpheus: Thanks man. Hope they are digital?
Me: What? You mean you need experience working in a digital agency?
Morpheus: Yes, and they should think digital.
Me: How's work man?

I can't 'think digital'. I cannot pretend to be an android. I do feel there's a lot of if-else and do-while loops being scripted in my thoughts, but no, am not a humanoid. My food and juices make me think, just like everyone I know of. I can never understand the being of an exclusive 'digital' copywriter or for that matter a creative director. I don't think they exist. These are your plain old creative folks, who are aware of the tech-invasion. In other words, they ARE the mainline/creative bunch, who choose not to live under a rock.

So the next time around, if you plan to get a copywriter for your shop, drop the 'digital'. This will help.

My nostradamus prophecy: The big smiling whales will swallow them fishes and krill, making the digital agency an obsolete thought.

Ok, bye.
